LITTLE ASHES
Feature film about the friendship between Lorca, Dali and Bunuel
In the film Little Ashes by British director Paul Morrison, we see a troubled young García Lorca in Madrid 1922. The film follows him and his friends, the painter Salvador Dali and filmmaker Luis Buñuel. The three meet at university in Madrid and share their ultra-modern artistic aspirations. Three of them to withdraw from the conventional art and brewing idealist plans. As Buñuel to Paris leaves, change the relationship between Lorca and Dali. Their friendship deepens but gradually becomes the blurred boundary between friendship and love.
